While there are still questions to answer about the book as a whole, I have re-focused my energies on Melchizedek. To that end, I am listening to Genesis 14 and Psalm 110, the two passages in the TaNaKh where he is mentioned.
I also plan on using the wikipedia article as a jumping off point.

First: why was Melchizedek there? Seems odd.
I'm thinking some investigation into extra-biblical Jewish stuff might be required for this. Any takers?
